POPULARITY:

Football has experienced tremendous growth in Canada over the last 20 years.  There are more teams today, from the youngest youth level right through post-secondary, than ever before.

LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY:

Football is a demanding, physical sport but there is a position on the field for every player, regardless of their size or physical abilities

PHYSICAL FITNESS:

Football offers an excellent opportunity to improve physical and mental strength.  Cardio-based training is an important and integral part of the sport.

INJURIES:

While injuries do occasionally occur, all of our coaches are required to participate in ongoing training in coaching methods that reduce the risk of injuries through safe contact instruction of the players.  We have a trained athletic therapist present at every contact practice and at all games.

AtOM Flag (born in 2016/2017/2018):

Atom registration is $100.00 for the 2024 season

MOSQUITO (BOrn in 2014/2015):

Mosquito registration is $320.00 for the 2024 season

PEEWEE (born in 2012/2013):

Peewee registration is $400.00 for the 2024 season

BANTAM (born in 2010/2011):

Bantam registration is $400.00 for the 2024 season

MIDGET (born in 2007/2008/2009):

Midget registration is $500.00 for the 2024 season

What is not Included:

Each player must provide cleats and a mouthguard.  A girdle is required for the Bantam and Midget level.

When do we PRACTICE?  What is the Schedule like?

2024 season;

• Atoms - practices are two times per week on Tuesday and Thursday
• Mosquito and Peewee - practices are two times per week on Tuesday and Thursday
• Bantam and Midget - practices are two to three times per week on Monday, Wednesday and sometimes Saturday.

**Please note coaches can decide to call extra practices if needed**  

During the week,  practices are from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (Practices can finish earlier for the younger levels).

Once the season begins in August,  practice is twice a week with a weekend game.  A  walkthrough (light practice) to review the game plan may be scheduled. The game Schedule will be available in July.

Please note, when school returns in September, we try and end practice earlier during the week for the younger levels.
